Maria heads the Property and Projects practice as well as the Intellectual Property & ICT Practice of the firm. Specific to real estate work, Maria and her team have handled investment projects, buy-to-let proposals and leasing & student accommodation matters for local and international clients. Maria has also represented various international brand owners and generic pharma companies in their investment in Malta and has worked on specific IP structuring plans and IP protection projects.  

Priscilla is a private client lawyer who heads the Families & Wealth and Corporate, Trusts & Fintech practice groups at Chetcuti Cauchi. She specialises in wealth structuring and preservation for business families and high net worth individuals and cooperates with legal and tax advisors worldwide to plan, set up and maintain corporate structure representing an international footprint. Priscilla also advises on residence and citizenship.

Charlene heads the corporate and commercial legal team within the firm. She has been actively involved for the past ten years in Corporate Law, Property Conveyancing, Employment Relations and General Commercial law.

Natasha specialises in risk advisory services, including areas related to AML and CFT Legislation, Sanctions Advisory Services, as well as regulatory areas.  Natasha also has a strong work experience in International Business, as well as the CSP and Trustee industries.

Matthew is responsible for defining and overseeing the development and long term commercial strategies of the firm. He is responsible for creating and implementing objectives and goals, managing department and employee growth and ensuring that the optimum level of client satisfaction is met in all stages of the engagement and service process.

A certified public accountant and auditor by profession, Gilbert trained with one of the Big Four accountancy practices in Malta, and has enjoyed an international professional experience.

Gilbert is in charge of spearheading the firm's financial strategy, financial governance and the internal finance function. Gilbert also overseas the firm's technology-empowerment strategy and has a keen interest in the use of technology in business.

Having a keen interest in technology and innovation, Susanna has written her thesis on the Legal Implications of Domain Names. She assists clients obtaining and protecting their intellectual property and guides start-ups navigate through legal challenges.

Sabrina joined the company in 2011 as a receptionist and 6 months later she joined the Billing Client Relations Department. Over 10 years of experience, Sabrina now handles the billing portfolio of all the corporate clients.

Justine is the client onboarding executive within the firm's Corporate and Trust Services arm.  She ensures a smooth first phase to client's business projects in Malta.

Within the Tax arm of the firm, David assists private clients with Maltese tax compliance, tax residency, and relocation services.

With a robust background in civil and commercial law, Dr Luana Cuschieri provides expert advice and assistance to clients on a wide range of legal matters, including contract negotiations, employment law, and private civil law issues. With  experience in litigation at Malta’s Law Courts, she is dedicated to delivering tailored legal solutions to meet her clients' needs. Dr Cuschieri's contributions to the firm's strategic initiatives, particularly in dispute resolution, have significantly enhanced the firm's capabilities and reputation.

Olena works within the firm's Corporate and Trust Services practice, assisting clients with company incorporations, corporate projects, and corporate compliance services.

Nicole practices in the Commercial and Civil Law practices and is actively involved in Commercial Law, Private Civil Law, and Property Conveyancing.

Fabrizio De Mari is a senior tax advisor within our firm’s corporate tax team. With a focus on international tax planning and fiscal compliance, Fabrizio brings extensive expertise to our global clients. His innovative approach, combined with a commitment to full compliance, ensures that our clients’ personal and business tax footprints are properly structured.  He has a specialisation in asset holding vehicles and assist clients with their Malta setups for increase asset protection.

Marko Planojevic is an Associate at Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates, specializing in Malta immigration law, investor citizenship, and residency advisory. He provides expert legal support in areas such as due diligence, Maltese permanent residence, and citizenship through naturalisation, marriage, descent, and investment.

As a technology lawyer, Danielle has extensive technology law experience in the private and public sectors and her legal practice covers technology contracts, public procurement, technology-related contracts, intellectual property, privacy and defamation actions, and AI legal advisory and regulatory compliance.

Katarzyna is an Advisor in the Tax Unit. Her area of practice is focused on various tax and immigration routes, including The Global Residence Programme, The Residence Programme and Nomad Residence Programme. Katarzyna assist the clients in understanding the best possible scenarios and ensures smooth cooperation between different departments within the firm.

In her current role, Michela supports the Corporate and Commercial Team in various legal tasks, including corporate law, where she assists with company formations and other related matters.

Specializing in global mobility, Nertila focuses on advising clients on international tax planning, cross-border employment compliance and global mobility strategy.  Her responsibilities include navigating the intricate tax implications of international assignments, ensuring compliance with global mobility regulations, and optimizing tax efficiency for both individuals and corporations in complex cross-border scenarios.  Key responsibilities include advising on tax implications for the employer and the employees including advice and applications for any tax incentives, guiding clients on structuring employee mobility programs, coordinating various registration and permit procedures as required.

Michaela Cini, specialises in Sanctions, Risk, and Regulatory Compliance. Her contributions include developing risk tools, facilitating submissions, and maintaining regulatory obligations. Holding a BA (Hons) in Criminology as well as an MA(Melt.) in Criminology, she is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist as well as holding an Advanced CAMS- Risk Management Certification. Having a legal academic background and extensive experiencein advising private clients on Maltese immigration regulations and otherinvestment migration programmes particularly in the Caribbean region, Juliaassists clients in understanding immigration routes and in taking informeddecisions tailored to their unique personal and financial circumstances.

Ms. Rain Gong is an advisor within the Immigration & Global Mobility practice at Chetcuti Cauchi. Originally from China and now based in Malta, she specializes in assisting Chinese nationals seeking to relocate through Malta’s residence and citizenship programmes. With a deep understanding of both Chinese and Maltese regulatory frameworks, Rain provides tailored guidance to private clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.

Senior Analyst within the Risk and Compliance Department. Specialising in Private Clients, UHNWI and Real Estate transactions.

Mayola carries a several years of  experience in the residency and citizenship field.  She has assisted many clients to obtain Maltese Permanent Residency, and now citizenship. Mayola has also worked on various tax and employment matters and has assisted with family reunification applications.

Raiden, a Risk & Compliance Analyst at Chetcuti Cauchi since June 2024, holds a BA (Hons) in Criminology from the University of Malta, specializing in terrorism and white-collar crime. Having previously gained exposure with the firm’s Risk & Compliance team, he now supports risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and risk management strategies.

Olga is the main lead for all ongoing monitoring processes. She also has extensive experience in assessing and reporting risks relative to highly complex structures/situations as well as with remediation processes.

Antoine has written his thesis on Malta's Individual Investor Programme and the Maltese Citizenship Act. He has assisted a number of the firm's clients qualify for Maltese citizenship under the Individual Investor Programme as well as other routes to citizenship by naturalisation.

Within our Private Clients practice, Magdalena heads our personal tax services team and specialises in advising executives, investors and HNWIs considering taking up tax residence in Malta under Malta's various routes to residency, tax residence, special tax status and even citizenship.

Marina is the Head of Immigration within the firm’s Immigration arm, specialising in investment migration, residency, citizenship, and global mobility.

Manager who oversees and project manages a dynamic team, ensuring the firm's online and offline presence maintains the highest standards of branding and visibility. With a strategic approach, Anja leads campaigns, brand positioning, and engagement efforts to enhance the firm's impact and growth.

Sara leads the Finance team at the firm, overseeing the preparation of financial statements, statutory reporting, and financial analysis for Senior Management. Alongside her team, she supports the finance operations of other departments to ensure smooth daily processes. She is also responsible for establishing and refining internal controls and financial policies.

Yana manages the HR function and ensures that main HR areas including Talent Management, Training and Development, Performance Management, HR Compliance and Payroll run smoothly and effectively. Yana also serves as a point of contact for all employee levels, offering them guidance and support.

Brian manages the Billing and Credit Control team of the firm and works closely with the firm's Finance Department on accounting matters and internal controls and processes.

Charlene works within the firm's licenced corporate services arm, assisting with the setting up of  companies in Malta, providing corporate compliance and corporate administration services, and executing corporate structuring projects.

Joanna and her team assist international clients in setting up their trusts, holding companies, and business entities in Malta and other jurisdictions.

Paul, together with his team,  handles the running of Front Desk, Administration, Housekeeping, Support, and Property Logistics, ensuring the smooth operations  and wellbeing of employees and clients alike.

Pauline carries a vast experience in the residency and citizenship field.  She has assisted a large number of the firm's clients to successfully obtain Maltese citizenship and residency. She is dedicated to serving high net worth individuals with their relocation and citizenship requirements. Pauline focuses on making the process as smooth as possible, allowing clients to enjoy their global lifestyle with peace of mind.

In her role with private clients, Valentina demonstrates high dedication and professionalism in managing complex relationships of HNW individuals.
