Matthew Debono

Matthew plays a key role in driving cross-border initiatives, and fostering leadership and employee development across the organisation. Working closely with the partners and management team, he ensures the firm remains agile, competitive, and aligned with evolving client needs and technology advancement. His leadership is centred on building a results-oriented culture while positioning the firm as a forward-thinking leader in the legal and corporate services sector. 

Matthew brings over 20 years of experience across legal services, corporate advisory,and international brand management. Prior to his appointment as CEO, he served as Chief Commercial Officer and Senior Manager at Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates, leading client strategy, market development, and operational delivery.

 His earlier career included senior roles with global FMCG brands, where he gained extensive expertise in strategic marketing, product innovation, and regional market leadership across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. This diverse background enables Matthew to bridge legal insight with commercial acumen,bringing a dynamic and client-focused approach to the firm’s leadership and service delivery.
