Gift of Time 2026: CC Teams Volunteer with YMCA Malta to Support Local Communities

As part of CC's Gift of Time volunteering initiative, members of our RNC Advisory Team and Private Client Tax Team dedicated a day to supporting YMCA Malta and the valuable work it carries out within the local community.

YMCA Malta is a non-profit organisation that supports individuals and families experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity, and social exclusion, providing accommodation, guidance, and practical support to help people build stability, independence, and a pathway towards a better future.

In the weeks leading up to the visit, colleagues worked together to organise and prepare for the day. The Private Client Tax Team took responsibility for purchasing gifts for the children, carefully selecting age-appropriate presents based on the age groups provided by YMCA.

Upon arrival, the group was warmly welcomed and given a tour of the YMCA residences in Msida, providing valuable insight into the organisation's work and the support it offers to those in need. As part of the volunteering activity, colleagues assisted with cleaning and maintenance tasks to help improve the facilities. The visit also included a short presentation, followed by the distribution of gifts to the children. Seeing their excitement and appreciation made the experience especially rewarding for everyone involved.

The initiative was further supported by a €700 donation from the firm, contributing towards YMCA Malta's ongoing community programmes and support services.

Through Gift of Time, our people have the opportunity to step away from their daily routines and contribute their time, energy, and skills to organisations making a positive difference in Malta. For the RNC Advisory and Private Client Tax teams, the day brought together community support, teamwork, and meaningful engagement, while helping to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
