The Malta Financial Services Authority has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority.
The Malta Financial Services Authority has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority. The Chairman of the MFSA, Prof. Bannister and Mr Michael Ryan, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority represented the two signatories.
On the basis of the Memorandum, the two authorities are provided with the means to assist each other, share information and co-operate in matters related to the supervision and regulation of banking, financial and insurance-related activities. The Memorandum applies within the framework of the laws and regulations in force in Malta and Qatar.
