The European Immigration Lawyers Network, EILN, is a network of 21 specialist European immigration law firms providing advice to businesses and individuals on EU free movement and other immigration law issues.  

The latest conference the EILN members met, was in Palermo, Sicily between the 8th and 11th of June. This 4 day conference was a members-only meeting, were some of the top European immigration lawyers and experts gathered and discussed questions and developments in immigration law and practice. 

The European Immigration Lawyers Network EILN held an immigration lawyers meeting in in Palermo, Sicily. Representing Malta immigration law firm Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates, lawyer Magdalena Velkovska addressed the delegates with developments in Maltese immigration law, including investor migration, HNW immigration, refugee law and asylum law in Malta.

Magdalena is a senior lawyer in the Firm with a deep understanding of international tax, investment migration and compliance affairs, with a main focus on personal tax residence. In view of this, she heads the personal tax unit where she brings precious experience and know-how, advising HNW Individuals and their families on the suitable relocation options from personal tax and immigration standpoint.    

She has contributed to many international conferences, summits and workshops with her speaking or attendance, on different subjects including, but not limited to international tax, tax and AML compliance and investment migration programmes.

The European Immigration Lawyers Network was established in 2000 to meet the changing needs of business and economic migrants, their employers and families in an enlarging European Union.
