World Trade Organization (WTO) to be led by a Woman for the very First Time in History.

In a public announcement on Thursday, WTO announced that for the first time ever, its vacant top job of Director-General has been narrowed to two contenders - Harvard-trained former Nigerian finance minister and South Korea’s trade minister, who are both women who are highly and diversely qualified for this role.

This is a forward-looking and promising step for such an institution. May the best woman win!
