Malta is increasingly being considered as one of the most attractive locations in Europe for residence by the Dubai event organiser, Henley & Partners.  Non-Maltese individuals currently have the possibility of acquiring residence status through two efficient programmes available to EU and non-EU nationals. A residence permit will allow its holder to reside permanently in Malta with the freedom to go in and out of Malta at their convenience and leisure, while enjoying a beneficial tax status and Malta’s wide network of double taxation treaties. These factors continue to contribute to the Maltese domicile’s economy and Mediterranean lifestyle, two key components that increasingly continue to attract people to relocate to the Maltese islands, whose popularity is surging at an accelerated pace.
