Senior Finance Executive

Basis: FullTime

The Senior Finance Executive will be responsible to perform daily and periodic accounting tasks required within the Finance Team whilst supporting the company’s various departments with regards to payments of disbursements and other general payments as required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processing purchase orders
  • Posting purchase invoices
  • Preparing payments, disbursements and allocations
  • Intercompany, bank and vendor reconciliations
  • Preparing internal reports
  • Dealing with queries from suppliers and other departments within the company
  • Other ad hoc tasks and reporting
  • Preparing statutory forms to authorities, banks or other institutions as may be necessary
  • Preparing financial reports for audit
  • Dealing with auditors and the respective year-end procedures

Key Attributes

  • Highly proficient in using MS Office tools, such as Word, Excel, Teams & PowerPoint
  • Ability to close off accounting records up to final trial balance stage
  • Conversant with posting and issuing reports from Accounting packages/software/ERPS
  • Ability to handle external auditors and related queries
  • Ability to analyse and recognize problems, and propose effective solutions
  • Minimum 5 years experience in an Accountancy Department
  • Part qualification in Accountancy (ACCA or B. Comm) is considered an asset
